Encapsulated O-Rings

Royal Way manufactures encapsulated O-rings for buyer-defined seal glands where the elastomer core and outer jacket construction are specified for the application. Quotations are prepared from the required size, gland drawing, material specification and service conditions.

Information for quotation

  • O-ring size, standard designation or exact inside diameter and cross-section
  • Core material, core form and outer jacket material required by the specification
  • Static or dynamic seal position and installation method
  • Gland dimensions, surface finish, clearance and compression
  • Fluid, temperature, pressure direction, vacuum conditions and operating cycle
  • Required quantity, tolerances, inspection and traceability documents

The term “encapsulated O-ring” does not identify a universal core, jacket or service range. Final construction and suitability are confirmed only after the material specification, gland and operating conditions are reviewed.
