Specifications & Product Information

Royal Way manufactures customer-defined elastic pull-back straps for drilling-floor tong-repositioning arrangements. Strap length, rubber section, working extension and end attachments are developed from the installed geometry and required return-force behavior.

Configured for the tong arrangement

  • Free length, installed length, maximum working extension and travel confirmed together
  • Rubber cross-section, end transitions and attachment geometry reviewed from drawings or a controlled sample
  • End loops and hardware interfaces evaluated as part of the complete strap assembly
  • Prototype, replacement and production quantities considered during quotation

Information required for quotation

Please provide the tong and line arrangement, anchor-point geometry, free and installed length, maximum extension, required return-force behavior, cycle rate, environmental exposure, end-loop or hardware drawing, quantity and inspection requirements.

Material, reinforcement, end-attachment method, dimensions, fatigue requirements and application suitability are confirmed only after review of the complete installation. Unless separately engineered and certified for that duty, the strap is not intended for personnel lifting or as a primary load-retaining device.
