Specifications & Product Information

Custom molded rubber D-rings are made to the customer’s drawing, measured sample or installation geometry for sealing, cushioning or locating duties in industrial assemblies. Royal Way reviews the profile and interface before manufacturing so the requested ring is matched to the application.

Specify the ring geometry

Provide the complete D-section or other non-circular profile rather than relying on a nominal diameter alone. State the groove or mating-part geometry, inside and outside dimensions, cross-section, tolerances, surface requirements and any parting-line restrictions.

Information for manufacturing review

  • Dimensioned drawing, CAD file or representative sample
  • Installed groove and mating-part dimensions
  • Static or dynamic duty and expected movement
  • Contact media and operating temperature range
  • Required compound, hardness or color when already specified
  • Quantity, inspection level and documentation requirements

Configuration confirmation

Material, hardness, tolerances, tooling, inspection method and final part identification are confirmed against the approved drawing or sample before production. D-rings are kept separate from standard O-rings, backup rings and metal D-ring hardware.
