Specifications & Product Information

Custom High-Expansion Packer Elements

Royal Way manufactures custom molded elastomer high-expansion profile elements for buyer-defined downhole packer and isolation tools. Quotations are prepared from a controlled element drawing, complete tool and target-bore interfaces, an existing sample or a verified original part reference.

Information for quotation

  • Tool manufacturer, model, assembly revision and original element reference when available
  • Mandrel outside diameter, element inside diameter, free outside diameter and target bore or casing inside diameter
  • Element length, outside profile, end geometry, backup supports, retainers and installed orientation
  • Required expansion from the running condition to the set condition and the available axial compression or actuation travel
  • Pressure direction, differential loading, fluid, solids content, temperature, setting cycle and retrieval requirement
  • Required compound, hardness, reinforcement or bonded insert when already controlled by the specification
  • Required quantity, dimensional tolerances, inspection and documentation requirements

High-expansion identifies a configuration family only; it does not establish an expansion ratio, geometry, material, tool fit or service rating. Final construction is confirmed against the complete assembly and operating conditions.
