Custom Fabric-Reinforced Rubber Diaphragms
Royal Way supplies custom fabric-reinforced rubber diaphragms for pump and equipment applications based on a drawing, representative sample or complete assembly data. The elastomer, reinforcement layout and molded geometry are quoted together because the working contour, clamping interface and fabric construction affect fit and movement.
Construction details for review
- Single-ply or multi-ply reinforcement as specified
- Flat, dished, convoluted or customer-defined molded contours
- Clamped edges, molded beads, flanges, bolt holes and locating features
- Customer-defined fabric position, orientation and rubber cover geometry
Information for quotation
- Complete diaphragm drawing, assembly drawing or a representative sample
- Outside diameter, effective working diameter, finished thickness, contour and required movement
- Edge, bead, flange, clamp, bolt pattern and mating-surface details
- Required elastomer and fabric specification, weave, ply count and orientation
- Rubber cover thickness and exposed-surface requirements when controlled
- Service medium, operating temperature, pressure or vacuum, stroke and cycle conditions
- Critical tolerances, inspection points, quantity, testing, marking and packaging requirements
Final elastomer, reinforcement construction, molded geometry, tolerances and application suitability are confirmed after the complete assembly and service requirements are reviewed.
